Growing, growing, gone.

Wildflowers, like so many things in life, are here one day and gone the next. They can completely change a landscape overnight. They bring beauty and a freshness that is undeniable. They come and go as they please, taking root where they belong for the moment and never promising a future. You never know when they’ll disappear, or if they’ll ever come back to the same place again. You must simply enjoy the color, the vibrancy, the life they inject… while it lasts.

I’ve learned to love their gypsy nature. I’ve spent the greater part of a decade emulating that nature whenever possible. I want to lead a life that even a wildflower would approve of… and any perennial would envy.

Don’t ever be afraid to be wild, like the flowers.
