During the Sisters’ Centenntial Ride in 2016 I broke off from the group for a few days of solo motogypsying . Seems like my favorite journeys are the ones where I’m completely alone and make a plan without any guidance. Choosing to ride from Denver to Estes Park, Colorado (with a wrong turn thrown in there for good measure) turned out to be one of the best days I’ve ever had on a motorcycle.
A sunny summer day, nearly deserted twisty roads for miles on end, and hours of breath-taking views…. After Estes Park, I went into the Rocky Mountain National Park. That’s another post (or twelve).
Beautiful!
